In order to better serve our patrons, Johnson County Public Library is adding Sunday hours during the summer months at two branches.
The Franklin and White River Branches will have regular Sunday hours from 1-5 p.m. throughout the year.
“We know how important access to public library resources is for our patrons in Johnson County,” said Johnson County Public Library director Lisa Lintner.
By changing our Sunday hours at two locations we will be able to better accommodate our patrons throughout the year.
JCPL Summer Learning participants will have an extra day each week to complete the program.
“We want to remain open everyday at two of our locations this and every summer. It’s essential that students continue learning even when school is not in session and that the individuals in our county are assisted in the pursuit of lifelong learning,” said Lintner.
Please note the Clark Pleasant and Trafalgar Branches have not changed their hours and will remain closed on Sundays.
