Cool Stuff Kindergartners Can Do With Their Library Card

Now that your kindergartner has their very own library card, it's time to discover some of the fun, free things they can do with it!

Check out books, movies and music
- a Johnson County Public Library card is a passport to thousands of free books, DVDs and CDs to check out and take home to enjoy! Is your kinderergartner into Minecraft? We've got books that will help them build their greatest creations yet. Love Frozen? We've got the movie and the soundtrack album, so the whole family can enjoy the songs again and again (and again). Click here to access the Kids' Catalog and start searching!

Check out and download eBooks, eAudiobooks, movies and comics -
A library card provides free access to our collections of downloadable books and audio. Use Cloud Library to read books in the My Weird School and Dork Diaries series, and much more! Or, check out OneClickDigital to download and listen to audio versions of books like the American Girl series and Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.

Our Hoopla Digital service has great Disney movies you can watch on a computer or iPad. Hoopla also has comics with kids' favorite characters like the Minions, Superman, and Garfield.

Explore your world - World Book Online
is the internet version of the award-winning encyclopedia. It's got all the great articles and photos from World Book Encyclopedia, along with cool videos and other tools that will help your kindergartner have fun while you learn. Click here to start exploring.
