Check out a variety of passes to area attractions, museums and pools! These passes can be used for free or reduced admission and other benefits. All passes are available at all JCPL branches on a first-come first-served basis. Museum passes check out for one week. Pool passes check out for three days. Contact your branch for more information or to inquire about availability.

Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art

The Eiteljorg collects and preserves high-quality Western art and Native American art and cultural objects. In addition to a renowned permanent collection, they host a wide variety of traveling exhibits and events.

The museum is located in the White River State Park cultural district in downtown Indianapolis, and is convenient to numerous other attractions, including the Indiana State Museum and the Canal Walk.

The library's pass provides free admission for up to 2 adults and their children.

Franklin Family Aquatic Center

Franklin's aquatic center offers an Olympic-sized pool with diving well, 190-foot water slide, a new zero depth pool with a play structure including 16 interactive play features, water basketball, concession stand, and sun decks.

The library's pass provides free admission for one person.

Freedom Springs Aquatic Center

Greenwood's aquatic center is open all summer and includes multiple water slides, a lazy river, a lap pool and a splash pool for infants and toddlers.

The library's pass provides free admission for one person.

Indiana Historical Society

Since 1830, the Indiana Historical Society has been Indiana's StorytellerTM, connecting people to the past by collecting, preserving and sharing the state's history. A private, nonprofit membership organization, IHS maintains the nation's premier research library and archives on the history of Indiana and the Old Northwest and presents a unique set of visitor experiences called the Indiana Experience. 

Each pass provides free admission to the Eugene and Marilyn Glick History Center for two adults and four children, free parking, and discounts at the Basile History Market and the Stardust Cafe.

Indiana Medical History Museum

The Indiana Medical History Museum is located on the grounds of the former Central State Hospital on the near west side of Indianapolis. The heart of the museum is the Old Pathology Building, the oldest surviving pathology facility in the nation. Take a tour of this two-story building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Indiana Medical History Museum pass provides free general admission for one adult and a guest.

Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites

Located in White River State Park in Downtown Indianapolis, the Indiana State Museum is the place to explore Indiana’s past, present and future — from mastodons and dire wolves to contemporary art by some of Indiana’s best artists. The Museum's permanent galleries highlight the rich history and culture of our state, and the special exhibits feature outstanding interactive experiences that are fun and educational for the whole family.

There are other benefits to checking out an Indiana State Museum pass. Your parking in the White River State Parking Garage will be validated at the flat rate of $5.00, and library patrons signing up for a new ISM membership will receive a 10% discount off the price of the membership.

The Indiana State Museum pass provides free general admission for up to 4 people.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum

The IMS Museum celebrates the rich history of the sport of auto racing and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the "Racing Capital of the World." Explore memorabilia from throughout the history of the Indianapolis 500, and see legendary race cars from around the world, up close and personal.

The library's pass provides a 50% discount off general admission to the Museum.

PLEASE NOTE: The Museum closed to the public in November 2023 and will remain closed until April 2025 when the newly renovated IMS Museum will reopen in time for the 109th running of the Indy 500. Closing Information

Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library

The Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library is dedicated to championing the literary, artistic, and cultural contributions of the late writer, artist, and Indianapolis native Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. This museum pass is good for two adults and children 18 and under in the same household.

Rhythm! Discovery Center

Founded by the Percussive Arts Society in 2009, Rhythm! Discovery Center is the world’s foremost interactive percussion museum, providing innovative programs, educational exhibits highlighting a rich collection of historic artifacts and hands-on percussion instruments, and artist performances.

The Rhythm! Discovery Center pass provides free general admission for up to two adults sharing the same household and all children or grandchildren under age 18. Plus, bring two friends along for free.
