State Parks and State Museum Passes

State Parks and State Museum Passes

Johnson County Public Library is pleased to announce exciting partnerships with the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. JCPL patrons can now check out passes to the Indiana State Museum, good for free general admission for up to 4 people. Separate passes to the Indiana State Parks are also available for checkout, providing free entrance to Indiana's 32 state parks.

The passes can be checked out by any cardholding adult in the JCPL service area. You may keep the pass for up to 7 days, and you may check out a pass up to two times in one year. Passes are available on a first-come, first served basis.

Located in White River State Park in Downtown Indianapolis, the Indiana State Museum is the place to explore Indiana’s past, present and future — from mastodons and dire wolves to contemporary art by some of Indiana’s best artists. The Museum's permanent galleries highlight the rich history and culture of our state, and the special exhibits feature outstanding interactive experiences that are fun and educational for the whole family.

There are other benefits to checking out an Indiana State Museum pass. Your parking in the White River State Parking Garage will be validated at the flat rate of $3.00, and library patrons signing up for a new ISM membership will receive a 10% discount off the price of the membership.
