Enter the Eyebombing Contest!
Eyebombing is the art of sticking googly eyes onto an inanimate object in a public place to give it the appearance of being a living creature.
Stop by the reference desk at your library branch to pick up some googly eyes and then create your masterpiece! Take a picture and submit your entry to Erin Kirchhoff (firstname.lastname@example.org)
The winner will be determined by the most "Likes" on the library's Facebook page and will earn a $20.00 Half Price Book gift card.
Entries Accepted: March 1-29
Online Judging: April 1-15
Winners will be announced during the third week of April.

The 2014 Teens' Top Ten have been announced! Every year teens vote on their favorite books of the year and the results are compiled by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). Teen Film Festival
This April will mark the fifth annual Teen Film Festival in Johnson County and surrounding schools, and you are officially invited to participate. Video categories include documentary, music video, feature film, and book trailers. Four honorable mentions will receive a $125 cash prize each, and the overall festival winner will receive $400.
