There's a chill in the air and a twinkle in the eye; the holiday season is nearly here! Celebrate the spirit of the season with friends, family and neighbors as we light up the library. Visit with beloved Christmas characters, meet a reindeer, make some goodies in Santa's Workshop, and more!

Holiday Lights Contest

Show off your festive outdoor holiday decorations and enter JCPL's Holiday Lights Contest! Submit a photo of your decorations by Monday, Dec. 9th. Winner will be notified on Thursday, Dec. 12th and invited to help light up the prairie at our annual Merry Prairie holiday celebration on Friday, Dec. 13th. The winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card courtesy of the JCPL Foundation.
