Steam Zone Robotics Learning Lab

We have an exciting opportunity to serve more patrons of all ages than ever before in science and technology. The STEAM Zone Robotics Learning Lab at our Clark Pleasant Branch provides JCPL patrons with access to a wide variety of next-generation technologies in a fun, educational environment. Kids and teens learn to program, manipulate and interact with robotics hardware as they study the principles of coding and artificial intelligence (AI).

Patrons of all ages have the opportunity to drop in for individual programs using the robotics technology and go deeper with extended program series and day camps that allow for sustained educational opportunities.

STEAM Initiatives

JCPL has developed a broad range of STEAM programming at all four branch locations. STEAM programs engage all ages, creating a truly multigenerational library experience. When kids are exposed to STEAM concepts and practices, they are better prepared for school success and they become more aware of higher education and career opportunities in the sciences.
