Mobile Hot Spot

Accessing the internet is easier than you might think with a Mobile Hot Spot. Check out a hot spot to help improve home internet connectivity or a Wi-Fi signal on the go.

A hot spot is a device you can use to connect a mobile device, such as a laptop, smartphone, or tablet, to the internet. A hot spot can connect up to 10 devices at once with unlimited data.

CHECK OUT A MOBILE HOT SPOT

All you need is a current Johnson County Public Library card and be at least 18 years of age. Plan ahead; hot spots are in high demand!

Place a hot spot on hold at a branch reference desk or through our online catalog. They can be checked out for 14 days and renewed if there are no other pending holds. Limit one hot spot per library card/household. Also, the Lucky 7 Hot Spot is available for a 7-day checkout period on a first-come, first-served basis.
