Using Zoom for JCPL Virtual Programs

Why Zoom?

Zoom is a video conferencing program that is free of charge for you to use to attend our virtual programs. It works on PCs, laptops, tablets, and phones. It allows you to see and listen to the program, and if you have a microphone, talk with the presenter.

Do I Need a Lot of Equipment?

  • You can use your phone, tablet or PC.
  • A camera is not required.
  • Speakers are needed, tablets, phones, and most PCs, have them built in.
  • A microphone is optional. You won’t be able to speak to the presenter without one.
