We are looking forward to hosting a virtual discussion panel as part of the 2021 Spirit and Place Festival. Four of our community stakeholders will discuss ways their organizations strive to incorporate equity, diversity and inclusion, and how they are making positive changes in Johnson County. Time for audience questions will follow the discussion.

Rev. Dr. Hannah Adams Ingram

Rev. Dr. Hannah Adams Ingram was born and raised in Johnson County, Indiana. She has an B.A. from Anderson University, an M.T.S. from Emory University, and a PhD from University of Denver and Iliff School of Theology. She is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ and serves as the Director of Religious Life and Chaplain of Franklin College. She is the author of "The Myth of the Saving Power of Education" (2021).

Dr. Hannah Adams

Dr. Maegan Pollonais

Dr. Maegan Pollonais is the new Director for the Center for Diversity and Inclusion at Franklin College. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean, Dr. Pollonais earned her bachelor’s degrees in sociology and music from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and a master’s in music from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She also has a Doctor of Arts degree in Music, Vocal Performance with a Concentration in Educational Psychology and a Certificate in Gifted and Talented Education from Ball State University.

Before coming to Franklin College, Dr. Pollonais served as the Director for Diversity and Inclusion at Manchester University where she managed the Jean Childs Young Intercultural Center and assisted in developing and retaining students of color and international students.

Dr. Patrick Spray

Dr. Patrick Spray is the current Superintendent of the Clark-Pleasant Community Schools, with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. He has a background in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Classroom Management, Curriculum Development and Public Speaking. He earned a Master of Arts (MA) focused in Elementary and Middle School Administration/Principalship from Butler University

Teresa J. Voorhees

Teresa J. Voorhees is a licensed Clinical Social Worker at Johnson Memorial Health. She is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis and IUPUI, and she holds a master’s degree in social work. Additionally, Teresa is an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Social Worker. In the past, she has worked as a school social worker, mental health therapist for adolescents and families, and an adjunct faculty member at the University of Indianapolis.

Olener "O". Prince, a native from University Park, IL. and Franklin, IN resident, is the Founder/CEO of Coach O, LLC, an Equity Consultant, an Educator, and a Certified Empowerment Officer to her clients. Alongside her Master’s in Adult and Higher Education, O. Prince is a Certified Master Transformation, Life Purpose, and Master Mindset Coach.

With more than a decade of experience, O. Prince is committed to helping empower individuals, community organizations and businesses to think beyond any limiting beliefs that may hold them back from achieving their goals and vision. Her strategies aim to cultivate thought, empower purpose and optimize desired results.

As The Conscious Creator, O. Prince guides individuals and groups through thought-provoking conversations and professional training that is engaging, relatable and conscious-driven.
