Help Your Child Get Ready to Read with Play and Learn Kits

Posted by: Johnson County Public Library  | Thursday, March 2, 2017

Most children learn to read when they reach school age, but the foundation of reading success starts much earlier, in the home. Did you know that you could greatly increase your child’s eventual reading success by helping them complete fun activities during their infant, toddler and preschool years?

It’s easy with new Play and Learn Kits at the library. Each box is filled with early literacy toys and activities to help your child prepare to read. All the games and activities are designed by trained librarians to stimulate and enhance the skills your child will use when they are ready to learn to read.
